Grand Piano

For those with the space available, a grand piano is a perfect choice. At Period Piano Company we have an astonishing array of antique grand pianos available, starting with the early 18th Century English and Viennese fortepianos, and progressing right through the development of the piano, including some wonderful Art Case Pianos, Arts and Crafts pianos, dramatic Art Deco pianos, and even some spectacular 20th Century ultra modern designs. The instruments come in all shapes and sizes and a wonderful variety of casework details. All instruments are chosen first and foremost for their musical qualities. We are also particularly interested in the pianos from the firms of Erard, and Pleyel, and offer some especially rare pianos from these famous firms. We are often surprised how people say they do not have room for a grand piano. A beautiful instrument can bring life to a room. When one can combine superb furniture and a beautiful instrument in one, then it is worth making the space.
